I’m looking forward to meeting with you and your 8th grader at our student-led conferences on Wednesday and Thursday. If you have not yet signed up, please be sure to follow this link and do so as soon as possible or contact me if you cannot make any of the available times work:
Our bike field trip to Rocky Mountain High School was a wonderful moment to begin thinking about what the high school experience could look like for our 8th graders. Getting to journey there on bikes (and talk about bike safety with our Safe Routes to School volunteers) made it all the richer. It’s been really nice for me to read the students’ reflections on their visit. Thank you to Kurt, Toby, Frau Krieg and Ms. Zak for chaperoning and making this possible. And thank you to Kristen, Reneca, Sue, and Tracy for signing up to chaperone our morning field trip to Fort Collins High School on Friday Oct. 21. Please remember to find out if a shadow day is possible for your student at their neighborhood high school and/or the school they are most interested in attending (and schedule a day for this if it is possible).
