Oscar’s Class Report
On Monday we started physiology and did a few African reports.
Tuesday we went to the great city to visit the Denver art museum and took a good look at the African and Renaissance art exhibits. We saw a piece of art work that was made of the metal parts of rum and whisky bottles, and we saw biblical paintings from the 14th century in the Renaissance.
On Wednesday we started on some physology; this is the study of organs and the way they work. We focused on the respiratory system this week.

King Soopers Cards/Scripps Program:
One of the easiest ways to fundraise for our school is to purchase a $5 King Soopers gift card (which will then have $5 on it – so you’re really not paying anything for it) and then reload it with your credit card before checking out. Please remember to keep reloading those cards over the course of a year and use them for grocery and gas purchases when you can. If you don’t yet have a card you can either stop in at the front desk or send $5 in with your 7th grader and they can bring the card home to you. Your family can bring in hundreds for the school over the course of the year, and you still earn rewards points. Whole foods and other gift cards are also available but are not quite as easy to use and reuse. Ask at the front desk if you would like one of those.
