We enjoyed a wonderful last week of the semester together in 7th grade. Read some highlights in Jessica's class report (with assistance from reporter's assistant, Reese). Wishing all of you a relaxing, joy-filled winter break!
Jessica’s Class Report
Monday in math we continued our triangle dome replica measurements for our greenhouse we’re getting in June. We learned about the lifetime of Queen Elizabeth, who was a ruler of England for 44 years. We started a drawing of Elizabeth.
On Tuesday we enjoyed a snow day!
Wednesday we went to Ms. Barman’s fourth graders’ play on a Norse legend. In math we chose our groups for our dome replicas of different sizes. We began to color our Elizabeth drawing and started writing five to eight sentences about her.
Thursday in Main Lesson we learned more about the Reformation, Martin Luther and artwork during the Reformation taught by Frau Krieg. Meanwhile in math we went to the fourth grade play about Thor losing his hammer.
Friday we had a long math so we could finish the dome project we were working on. In main lesson we learned about William Shakespeare, and had an English tea party and our final secret Santa exchange. We got 3 guesses to guess our Santa. We also had the assembly. Every class got to perform a song to the whole school, and we sang our “Wassailing” song. The staff sang also and it was a wonderful time.
