Stay Up-To-Date on Our Program Transition

On October 22nd, 2025, the Mountain Sage Board of Directors shared that our school enrollment numbers were down, following in line with a national trend, and that the Board would be exploring the best possible school structure to support our small, unique Waldorf-inspired program for years to come. Over the following weeks, the Board engaged in conversations with school administration and staff, listening and information sessions with the community, and research supported by the school operations team. On November 18th, 2025, the Board announced their decision to: 1) Keep a K-8 school program; and 2) Transition the current class structure from a single-track K-8 with a "floating bubble" (three double-track bubbles throughout the grades) to a 2:1 model, consisting of a double-track K-5th and a single-track 6th-8th. This page is your place to find all of the information related to this transition. Here, we will house important documents, updates, and more.
