Giving Is In Our Nature is a fun ticketed event held on April 11th, 2026 from 5-8pm at the Agave Room! Come experience live music, delicious eats, tasty beverages, and an exciting silent auction, all in support of our school.

Why a Springtime Gala?
As spring arrives, we are hungry for connection and celebration. A a school, we provide opportunities to experience this with our families at May Faire and in our classes for various events, but not just for the adults. A springtime gala creates this space, allowing for us to deepen our adult connections at a fun early evening party, all while supporting the work of the school.
Is This A Family Event?
No, Giving Is In Our Nature is for adults only.
Is There A Dress Code?
We hope that you will take this opportunity to enjoy a night out in "FoCo fancy dress," whatever that means to you.
Are Tickets Required for Entry?
Yes, each person in attendance is required a ticket for entry. This is a fundraiser, after all! We have three types of tickets for purchase: Early Bird, Regular and Pay-It-Forward. See the next two questions for more information.
When Does Early bird Pricing End?
Early ​Bird tickets are $35, as opposed to $40, and will be available for purchase through March 13th.
What Is A Pay-It-Forward Ticket?
All Pay-It-Forward tickets will be gifted to members of the staff as a small gesture of gratitude. In the event that we have more Pay-It-Forward tickets purchased than we are able to gift to staff, we will make those available to members of our parent community. If you are interested in potentially receiving a PIF Ticket, please complete this form.

Are Food and Drinks Included?
Your ticket price includes tasty treats from The Rio and MSCS family-owned Little Bird Bakeshop and one drink ticket for either a beer or a glass of wine. If we are able to secure more sponsors for the event, this may change!

Will The Silent Auction Be Online?
Sort of. The bidding for this year's silent auction will be conducted online, using easy-to-scan QR codes the night of the event; the items will not be available online to anyone outside of the event. You are more than welcome to bid on behalf of your friends and family, as long as you can settle at the end of the event. We will accept cash, check, and electronic payment.

Will I ​Need to Download an App?
Yes, you will need to download the Auctria app. You should be directed to do so when you purchase tickets. Additional reminders will be sent.

How Can I Help?
Aside from purchasing a ticket to join us at the party and bidding in the silent auction, we are looking for item donations, event sponsors, and volunteers to help on the day of the event (volunteers will still need to purchase a ticket). Please email the Event Planning Team.
